Your Opportunity

We are looking for Mechanical Site Engineer to oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, contract requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations, acting as the client’s technical representative on site.

 

Key accountabilities

  • Review and verify contractor’s work to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and

standards.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
  • Identify defects or deviations and issue non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Recommend corrective actions and monitor their implementation.
  • Verify and certify work quantities and measurements for interim payment applications.
  • Participate in site meetings and prepare technical minutes and reports.
  • Review and approve contractor’s method statements, work plans, and material submittals.
  • Provide guidance on technical issues and site challenges.
  • Maintain comprehensive site records, including daily reports, site instructions, and correspondence.
  • Prepare progress reports and highlight risks, delays, or deviations to the client.
  • Support preparation of as-built drawings and project closeout documentation.

 

Specific requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in site consultancy or construction supervision roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction practices, and quality control.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, MS Office, project management tools).
