We are hiring a Junior FM Operator for an international organisation in Frankfurt, Germany, and various locations around Europe.
Main Responsibilities
The Junior FM Operator provides front‑line Facilities Management support services, acting as a key point of contact for users and stakeholders. The role is primarily responsible for switchboard and welcome desk services, as well as the coordination and processing of Facilities Management service requests.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating the switchboard and welcome desk, ensuring a professional and customer‑oriented first point of contact
- Registering, processing and tracking Facilities Management service requests via ticketing systems
- Booking meeting rooms and related services in accordance with established procedures
- Ensuring accurate data entry and follow‑up of requests to support service delivery and reporting
- Providing basic technical support within the scope of the Managed Services
- Communicating effectively with internal teams, service providers and users to ensure timely resolution of requests
- Contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive, polite and solution‑oriented interaction
Essential:
Secondary school graduation (preferably high school graduation / Abitur) plus professional education with at least 2 years relevant experience in addition to the experience required below; alternatively a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Facility Management or another relevant field:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in relevant fields;
- Excellent customer service skills as well as very good communication and diplomacy skills, verbal and in writing;
- Basic technical expertise for the scope of the Managed Services;
- English skills level C1 (according to the "self-assessment grid" available on the Europass website https://europa.eu/europass/en);
- German skills level B2 (according to the "self-assessment grid" available on the Europass website https://europa.eu/europass/en).
Desired:
Basic knowledge of Facility Management standards such as GEFMA;
- Experience with CRM systems, e.g. Adito, Mendix
- Good knowledge of ticket systems or CAFM software, e.g. Planon;
- Good knowledge of Switchboard systems;
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
