As the Workforce Support Administrator, you’ll provide workforce administration, coordination and employee support services across the Royal Navy Support portfolio, with a primary focus on the Integrated Merlin Operational Support (IMOS) contract and support to Aviation Engineering and Safety Assurance Services (AESAS) activities as required. You’ll play a key role in ensuring workforce information is accurate, compliant and readily available to support operational delivery.

By supporting employees throughout the employee lifecycle and maintaining accurate workforce data and processes, you'll help create impactful solutions that enable operational teams to focus on delivering vital services. Your work will support colleague growth, build trust and contribute to a positive impact on communities through the effective delivery of defence support services.

What you’ll do as a Workforce Support Administrator

  • Act as the workforce administration focal point across the Royal Navy Support portfolio, supporting employees and managers with workforce-related queries.
  • Coordinate Time2Work administration, reporting and monitoring activities, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of queries.
  • Maintain accurate workforce records, personnel files, databases and reporting tools in line with company procedures and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements.
  • Support recruitment activities by coordinating interviews, onboarding, pre-employment documentation and recruitment tracking.
  • Administer attendance, annual leave and absence processes, while supporting payroll query resolution and workforce reporting.
  • Produce workforce reports, metrics and management information to support governance forums, leadership reviews and workforce planning activities.

Does this sound like you?

  • Experience in workforce administration and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Strong experience maintaining workforce databases, personnel records and producing management information reports.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to analyse data and produce accurate reporting.
  • Confident handling confidential workforce and human resources information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

Vetting and checks:

This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, you will need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
