£65,000 - £75,000 per annum, dependant on experience

As an Application Product Owner in our Citizen Services - Employment, Skills and Training team, you’ll own and deliver our application roadmap, ensuring technology solutions meet the evolving needs of the business. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and development teams, using agile, user-focused methods to create real value.

 

You’ll be entrusted to:

  • Define the product vision and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with business strategy.
  • Manage and prioritise the product backlog to deliver value-driven features.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback and translating it into actionable improvements.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, from development and trials through to maturity and enhancement.
  • Deliver effective communication and product collateral, including user guides, training material and release notes.

 

 

Does this sound like you?

 

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Experience in delivering technology-based products from concept through to retirement.
  • Strong knowledge of agile development and experience using Microsoft Dynamics and 365 software.
  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to use feedback to inform decision making.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, comfortable working independently and leading a team.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
