Social Value Solution Manager
Remote with UK travel to Serco offices when required

Salary - £50,000 - £55,000 per annum dependent on experience

We’re looking for a Social Value Solutions Manager to join our ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) function, part of our UK&E Growth team. In this vital role, you’ll shape and develop innovative, high-scoring and deliverable social value solutions that support new business bids across the organisation.
As part of this you’ll:
- Lead the design and development of social value bid solutions that respond to customer KPIs and align with Serco’s Social Value Framework.
- Collaborate across Business Units, building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring social value proposals are both compelling and achievable.
- Work closely with the Senior Social Value Solutions Manager – Growth, and support governance processes such as Red Reviews, Social Value Artefacts and Black Hat presentations.
- Translate complex social value concepts into persuasive, high-quality bid responses that support business growth.
- Support the transition from bid to contract delivery, ensuring mobilisation plans include social value activities and outcomes.
- Partner with internal teams and external organisations to identify and engage with third-party delivery partners and build robust reporting capabilities.
- Proactively manage social value risks and contribute to knowledge sharing through case studies and content development.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- A solid understanding of the full business lifecycle, public sector procurement and government guidance such as PPN 06/20 and NPPS.
- Experience working in a CSR, ESG or social value role within a contracting, service or similar organisation.
- Familiarity with social value measurement frameworks such as National TOMs or other social impact tools.
- Outstanding communication and bid-writing skills, with strong attention to detail.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to engage, influence and drive collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
- Confidence, resilience, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- A passion for social value and a desire to create lasting, meaningful impact.
