Make an impact at Serco
As a Canteen Facilitator at Clarence Correctional Centre, you’ll coordinate and manage the Centre’s canteen facilities, ensuring operations run smoothly, securely and efficiently. You’ll play an important role in supporting rehabilitation and reintegration by maintaining organised stock control and delivering a reliable service within a respectful and safe environment. Working within our Centre Services team and reporting to the Logistics & Distribution Coordinator, you’ll help embed Serco’s key operating principles across the Centre .
As a Canteen Facilitator in the Centre Services team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

Managing the smooth daily operation of the Centre’s canteen facilities

Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stocktakes

Coordinating the replenishment of supplies to meet ongoing Centre needs

Ensuring all deliveries comply with required security checks

Issuing stock in line with Centre policies and procedures

Producing accurate reports and supporting finance and logistics processes
About Clarence Correctional Centre
Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional Centre in Australia.
Located on the beautiful NSW North Coast, approximately 6 hours’ drive from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane, our region offers rainforests, epic headlands, sand dunes and some of the best Australian beaches, alongside multi-cultural cafes, restaurants and welcoming community towns.

You could be a great fit if you have:

Relevant qualification in stock management and/or control, or relevant experience

Experience in customer service within a retail or stock environment

Confidence in accurate data entry and maintaining computerised records

Knowledge of inventory control processes and stock management
-
Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
-
A current Forklift Licence and valid Driver’s Licence
