Make an impact at Serco
In this role, you’ll act as a key connection between the Clarence Correctional Centre and the Operational Support Centre, supporting smooth workforce operations and communication. You’ll play an important role in delivering safe, respectful, and efficient services in a large, multi-functional environment. Working closely with People & Capability and operational teams, you’ll help embed strong workforce planning practices. Your work will contribute to a positive experience for staff, inmates, and the wider community.
As a Clarence Workforce Coordinator in the Centre Services team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Acting as the key point of contact between centre teams and workforce support
- Coordinating rostering, staffing levels, and workforce planning activities
- Supporting recruitment communication and workforce processes
- Managing time, attendance, and payroll queries with accuracy and care
- Monitoring compliance with staffing, training, and rostering requirements
- Identifying and improving processes to enhance workforce efficiency
About Clarence Correctional Centre
Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional Centre in Australia.
Located on the beautiful NSW North Coast, around 6 hours from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane, you’ll enjoy rainforests, coastal headlands, sand dunes, and some of Australia’s best beaches. You’ll also be part of a welcoming community with a vibrant mix of cafés, restaurants, and local culture.
