As an Electrician in the Facilities Management team at Clarence Correctional Centre, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the centre’s electrical infrastructure to ensure a safe and respectful environment for inmates, staff, and visitors. You’ll be joining a high-performing and supportive team committed to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. This role supports the broader goals of rehabilitation and reintegration in one of Australia’s most advanced correctional centres.

As a qualified Electrician, you’ll make a positive impact by:

• Undertaking planned and unplanned maintenance and repair work

• Supporting asset management, audits, tagging, and performance monitoring

• Completing safety inspections and checks on plant and equipment

• Troubleshooting and reporting on electrical faults and issues

• Assisting with minor project works and technology upgrades

• Promoting a 'safety first' approach in every task

Serco is a place for you
To be successful in this role you’ll have:

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and current electrical licence

• Post-trade experience in a maintenance or facilities environment

• A strong safety mindset and experience with HSE procedures

• Familiarity with CMMS and Microsoft Office tools (preferred)

• BMS or HVAC system knowledge (desirable)

• A current driver’s licence, White Card, and COVID-19 vaccination
