You'll play a pivotal role supporting the General Manager and Senior Management Team at Clarence Correctional Centre – Australia's largest and most advanced correctional facility. As the Executive Assistant, you'll be at the centre of strategic operations, ensuring senior leaders can focus on delivering exceptional outcomes while you coordinate executive support, confidential communications, and key business activities. The role contributes to promoting rehabilitation, maintaining safety and security, and supporting a respectful environment for staff, inmates and visitors.

As an Executive Assistant in the Centre Services team, you'll make a positive impact by:

• Providing high-level executive and administrative support to the General Manager and Senior Management Team.
• Managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings, appointments and competing priorities.
• Coordinating travel arrangements, expense reconciliations and invoice processing.
• Preparing meeting agendas, minutes, reports and monitoring completion of action items.
• Collecting and analysing information to prepare correspondence, reports and executive documentation.
• Investigating and responding to internal and external enquiries and complaints.
• Preparing confidential correspondence and managing sensitive information with discretion.
• Coordinating executive events and supporting strategic initiatives across the Centre.
• Acting as a subject matter expert for administration processes while mentoring administration staff when required.
• Maintaining effective administrative systems, document registers and accurate records while delivering exceptional customer service.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (desired but not essential) or willingness to undertake if required.
• Considerable experience providing executive or senior administrative support.
• Experience supporting senior management or executive leadership teams.
• Experience preparing correspondence, reports, meeting minutes and statistical information.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining confidential information and accurate records.
