Join us at Clarence Correctional Centre as a Maintenance Technician and help maintain a safe, secure, and functional facility. In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with a diverse and supportive team to deliver high-quality maintenance services, ensuring our buildings and equipment are kept in excellent condition. You’ll play a key role in supporting operations and contributing to a safe environment for all.

As a Maintenance Technician in the Facility Management Services team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

• Responding to maintenance issues and carrying out repairs on buildings and assets

• Undertaking planned preventative maintenance and minor project work

• Conducting safety checks on equipment and performing asset tagging

• Using tools and testing equipment safely and effectively

• Keeping accurate records and completing work reports

• Supporting diagnostics, reporting findings, and helping develop team capability

You could be a great fit if you have:

• A valid trade licence (plumbing, electrical, or carpentry certificates desirable)

• Experience in general building maintenance across multiple trades

• The ability to diagnose faults and perform reactive and preventative maintenance

• A strong understanding of WHS legislation and safety practices

• Confidence working in high-security or complex environments

• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
