About Clarence Correctional Centre

Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional centre in Australia. Located on the NSW North Coast – approx. 6 hours from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane – the area offers rainforests, sand dunes, stunning beaches, and vibrant multicultural towns. About the Role

As a Health Services Administrator, you’ll be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Health Services team. You’ll contribute to the smooth running of clinical and operational functions, supporting compliance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement across a highly regulated environment.

 

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Qualifications

  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (desired but not essential – willingness to undertake is welcomed)

 

Experience

  • Previous administration experience is essential

 

  • Experience in customer service, hospital, or prison environments is highly regarded

 

  • Familiarity with electronic health or offender management systems (desirable)

 

  • Knowledge & Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

 

  • Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders

 

  • Adaptable communication style and interpersonal approach
