We’re looking for an Intelligence Supervisor to join our Security & Operations team at the Clarence Correctional Centre – the largest correctional facility in Australia. In this frontline leadership role, you’ll support a team of Intelligence Officers and lead the implementation of the security and intelligence collection plan. You’ll be at the heart of security risk management, guiding operational decision-making and helping keep the Centre and community safe.

As an Intelligence Supervisor in the Security & Operations team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Leading, mentoring and developing Intelligence Officers

  • Promoting a culture of inclusion, professionalism and trust

  • Coordinating and delivering timely and accurate intelligence briefs

  • Investigating intelligence and supporting security investigations

  • Reviewing transport and movement risk for inmate transfers

  • Implementing the Centre’s intelligence and risk management plans

About Clarence Correctional Centre
Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional centre in Australia.

Located on the beautiful NSW North Coast, approximately 6 hours' drive from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane, our region offers rainforests, epic headlands, sand dunes and some of the best Australian beaches – along with a variety of multicultural cafés, restaurants and friendly community towns.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Certificate III in Correctional Practice (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)

  • Successful completion of any Supervisors training programs

  • Successful completion of, or demonstrate ability to complete a Corrective Services Intelligence Officers Course within the first year of sevirce

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of intelligence frameworks and security risk management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
