As an Operational Performance Manager, you’ll play a key role in strengthening performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across Clarence Correctional Centre. Working closely with the General Manager and Senior Management Team, you’ll lead initiatives that enhance operational outcomes, manage risk, and support a safe and sustainable environment. You’ll bring data-driven insights to improve performance and ensure contractual requirements are consistently met. Your work will directly contribute to better outcomes for employees, inmates, and the wider community.

As an Operational Performance Manager in the Justice team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Partnering with senior leaders to shape strategy and business plans
  • Leading performance improvement to enhance contractual outcomes
  • Managing and supporting operational investigations
  • Leading senior managers to achieve KPIs and business targets
  • Overseeing operational and security risk management practices
  • Managing reporting, insights, and improvement initiatives across the facility
  • Managing projects to deliver operational and functional efficiencies

About Clarence Correctional Centre

Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional Centre in Australia.
Located on the beautiful NSW North Coast, approximately 6 hours' drive from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane, the region offers rainforests, epic headlands, sand dunes, and some of the best Australian beaches, along with vibrant multicultural cafes, restaurants, and welcoming community towns.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Project management or a Corrections related field is highly regarded or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Diploma in Correctional Administration or equivalent experience desirable
  • Postgraduate qualifications desirable
  • Relevant certifications in Corrections desirable
