You are a highly organised and detail-oriented professional, ready to bring your administrative skills to a unique and meaningful environment. As an Operations Clerk within the Security and Operations team, you’ll be based at Clarence Correctional Centre in Lavadia, NSW.

This full-time role offers the opportunity to support operational processes while contributing to a safe and respectful correctional environment.

As an Operations Clerk in the Security and Operations team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Managing and maintaining official complaints, requests and information records
  • Supporting Use of Force (UOF) and Inmate Misconduct package preparation
  • Assisting with Conflict With Offenders (CWO) and EA Progression meetings
  • Coordinating segregation documentation and Official Visitors processes
  • Completing general administrative duties to support daily operations
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures to maintain safety and order
  • Adhere to Serco’s values, Code of Conduct and key operating principles

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (desired, not essential) or willingness to obtain if required, and or relevant administrative experience
  • Certificate III Correctional Practice, or willingness to obtain with the first year of employment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • The ability to meet compliance requirements including Police Check and clearance by Corrective Services NSW
