As an FM Contract Manager in our Justice and Immigration Facilities Management team, you’ll take the lead in ensuring safe, high‑quality and financially controlled delivery of facilities management services across a complex secure environment. Your work will directly support a safer, more sustainable and well‑run establishment, helping us create impactful solutions that touch lives every day.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of the site’s built environment. Whether you’re optimising lifecycle maintenance, driving operational improvements, or supporting the development of colleagues, the positive impact of your work will reach employees, visitors and the wider community.
What you’ll do as an FM Contract Manager
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Manage and control an FM budget of over £4m, ensuring financial accuracy, statutory compliance and commercial performance.
- Lead delivery against Ministry of Justice contract KPIs and support client reporting, including weekly and monthly performance and CDI returns.
- Act as the operational escalation point for all FM‑related services on site.
- Oversee asset replacement planning and delivery in partnership with the FM Asset Manager.
- Select, negotiate with and manage specialist contractors across hard FM services, such as lifts, water treatment and waste.
- Drive safe, high‑quality FM service delivery and operational compliance, including SFG20 requirements and CAFM usage.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have…
- Strong experience in financial budgeting and control for multisite FM contracts of £4m+.
- Solid commercial acumen, including understanding of SLAs and CDIs.
- Experience leading FM operations in a custodial or similarly complex environment.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety, Environmental legislation, Quality Assurance and COSHH requirements.
- Working knowledge of CAFM systems and strong PC literacy across Microsoft Office.
Vetting and checks
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
