Contract Manager, Training & Simulation (Land)

Function description

                    
As Contract Manager you will be integrating Serco Defence and will report to the Director Defence.  You will be closely supported by 1 Operations Manager, a HR-Admin assistant and various SME’s and Support Services. 

Site Manager’s key responsibilities: 

  • Business
    • Define together with the Operations Manager contract organisation and processes that delivers expected results
    • Develop customer relationship
    • Contractual performance reporting
    • Business Development: 
      • Seeks and develop opportunities
      • Deliver proposals to the customer for developing the business
      • Supervises the execution of projects 
  • Human Resources
    • Communicate strategy, goals and company information’s
    • Ensure people motivation, sense of ownership and adherence to the company cultureIdentify, hires and develops potentials
    • Set training & development policy
    • Manages Safety rules and ensure results
    • Generates and manage changes
  • Financials
    • Ensures budget preparation and follow-up
    • Responsibility for P&L
    • Manages invoicing process, indexation, …
    • Prepares Business Reviews

Profile

The successful candidate for this role is an entrepreneurial leader, someone who enjoys developing new customer relationships and equally loves working with their team to improve operational excellence.  We are looking for an ambitious and energic leader with a high focus on excellent Service Delivery, with a strong services background, and if possible with knowledge of Belgian Land Force operations.

 

Former Land Force Officer, Business/Management, Industrial or Civil Engineer, with experience of 2+ years in service delivery and people management.

  • An experience with Land Forces, military training and/or Defence is a great asset
