Fullstack Developer (and admin) SharePoint & ServiceNow

We are currently seeking a Fullstack Developer (and admin) SharePoint & ServiceNow to join our team supporting the European Commission in Luxembourg, as well as in other locations across Europe. The position is open to freelance contractors. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom solutions while managing existing SharePoint environments.
• Build and maintain AngularJS applications with efficient data handling and DOM manipulation.
• Write clean, high-performance JavaScript code, with strong proficiency in ES5/ES6+ standards.
• Integrate and maintain ServiceNow workflows and configurations.
• Troubleshoot and optimise existing applications to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Conduct requirements analysis with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document code and maintain technical specifications for future reference.
• Develop PAM-compliant solutions, ensuring secure privileged access controls.
• Train end users and support teams on application functionality, best practices, and security protocols.
• Create user documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong expertise in AngularJS (1.x) and Angular frameworks and architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in jQuery for DOM manipulation and AJAX operations.
• Proven experience with SharePoint On-Premises environments.
• Solid understanding of JSON parsing, manipulation, and data structure handling.
• Experience with the ServiceNow platform, including development, workflows, and integrations.
• Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or TFS.
• Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory (AD) and LDAP protocols for user and group management.
• Understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM) concepts and security protocols.
• Experience with SharePoint REST API and CSOM (Client-Side Object Model).
• Knowledge of C# or server-side web development.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Experience with data transformation and complex JSON operations.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 integration.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• The candidate must be eligible to undergo the process required to obtain EU Secret Security Clearance.

• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
