Events Assistant

Location: Maidstone Leisure Centre, Maidstone, ME15 7RN

Salary: £15 per hour plus excellent benefits

Schedule: Part time casual contract working mainly evenings, weekends and late nights.

As an Events Assistant, you'll help create positive impact on communities by supporting the successful delivery of events that bring people together. Your work will help ensure every event is safe, well organised and welcoming, contributing to experiences that enrich local lives and help impact a better future.

What you’ll do as an Events Assistant

• Support the set-up and preparation of events, ensuring all equipment and spaces are ready in good time.
• Uphold company Health and Safety Policy and comply with all relevant safety legislation.
• Carry out cleaning duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout event areas.
• Follow processes outlined in the Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure consistent and safe operations.
• Assist with stewarding duties when required to support smooth event delivery.
• Help create a welcoming environment for visitors, ensuring a positive experience at every event.

• Previous experience is not required.
