As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you’ll play a key role in maintaining safe and high-quality public housing across Victoria. Working within the Homes Victoria Property Maintenance Services team, you’ll oversee inspections, quality audits and service delivery to ensure maintenance works meet safety, contractual and quality standards. You’ll collaborate closely with subcontractors, internal teams and renters to resolve issues and improve service outcomes. Your work helps ensure homes are safe, functional and delivered to the highest standard for the communities we support.
As a Quality Assurance Inspector in the Facilities Management team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Conducting site inspections to verify safety, workmanship and quality standards
- Managing job order workflows and supporting on-time service delivery
- Leading quality audits and identifying improvement opportunities
- Overseeing subcontractor performance and ensuring compliance with standards
- Assessing and approving variations within delegation limits
- Engaging with renters and stakeholders to resolve service issues

- Trade Certificate in a building-related discipline (Essential)
- Experience in building, construction or maintenance environments
- Knowledge of safety systems, compliance and quality standards
- Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Confidence using maintenance or asset management systems
