This role is part of our partnership with Healthdirect, supporting their mission to deliver accessible, high-quality healthcare advice to every Australian.
If you're seeking meaningful nursing work with real flexibility, this is it. You'll provide clinical triage and safe care guidance to callers across Australia using evidence-based pathways and secure digital systems.
We are currently offering:
• Fixed term contracts (20 - 38 hours per week) until 30 June 2026, with potential extension, OR
• Casual contracts (minimum 20 hours per week) with the option to pick up additional hours
What you'll do:
• Triage and assess callers
• Extract and interpret key clinical information
• Provide evidence-based guidance via clinical pathways
• Refer or escalate when required
• Complete accurate documentation in secure systems
Training:
We provide one week of paid online training. Full attendance is essential.
You'll thrive here if you:
• Are an RN with unrestricted AHPRA registration (3+ years)
• Have 3 years full-time (or equivalent) recent experience in acute, ED, primary health or rural/remote settings
• Show strong clinical judgement and remain calm under pressure
• Are confident navigating digital systems, CRMs and telehealth platforms
• Have a private home workspace, reliable Wi-Fi and strong mobile reception
• Can work 24/7 rotating shifts, incl. days, evenings, nights and weekends
