As a Chef in our Health team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality food services that support patients, visitors, and colleagues. Your work will help create a positive experience in a healthcare environment where every detail matters.

What you’ll do as a Chef

You’ll be entrusted to:

  • Prepare, cook, and present food to agreed recipes, quality standards, and service times
  • Follow food safety procedures, including temperature control, storage, and hygiene standards
  • Maintain accurate records to support compliance and service delivery
  • Ensure allergen management procedures are strictly followed and clearly communicated
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment and personal presentation
  • Identify and report equipment faults, safety concerns, or service issues promptly

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have…

  • Previous experience as a chef or cook, ideally in a busy environment
  • The ability to work under pressure and follow direction from management
  • A collaborative approach and confidence working within a team
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • A basic food hygiene certificate or willingness to obtain one
