We’re looking for a Contract Manager to join our Defence team and lead the Medical and Dental Equipment Support Services (MDESS) contract. This role is central to delivering critical maintenance, repair, and supply services for the Australian Defence Force. You’ll be accountable for managing contract operations, driving performance, and ensuring compliance across service areas. Based in Moorebank NSW, you’ll collaborate with a diverse team, trusted leaders, and valued partners to support national defence capability.

 

As a Contract Manager, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Delivering contracted services to the Australian Defence Force under the MDESS agreement
  • Managing day-to-day operations and ensuring service levels meet Defence requirements
  • Overseeing budgets, financial commitments, and resource planning
  • Leading and supporting team managers to meet deliverables and grow professionally
  • Ensuring compliance with Serco Management System and quality standards
  • Managing subcontractor and supplier relationships across service areas

You could be a great fit if you have:

  • Experience in logistics or maintenance environments, preferably within Defence
  • Strong leadership, planning, and scheduling capabilities
  • Familiarity with Safety and Quality Management Systems
  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in logistics or business management
  • Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain (or currently hold) NV1 Security Clearance
  • A current Australian driver’s licence
