Help us support Australia’s Defence Forces by ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical logistics. As a Warehouse Pharmacist in the Medical and Dental Equipment Support Services team, you’ll deliver expert warehousing and pharmaceutical support in a critical logistics role. This includes working within a Defence environment at the Joint Logistics Unit in Moorebank, providing support across pharmaceutical storage, preparation, and compliance.

 

As a Warehouse Pharmacist in the Medical and Dental Equipment Support Services team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

 

  • Managing the receipt, storage, packaging, and distribution of pharmaceuticals
  • Preparing and dispensing medications, including compounding and labelling
  • Ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and Defence protocols
  • Maintaining accurate records and monitoring controlled substances
  • Verifying orders, charges, and inventory inspections
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (or PhC) and current registration with the Australian Pharmacy Board
  • At least 2 years of experience as a practicing Pharmacist
  • Minimum 12 months’ experience in a wholesaling environment
  • Strong organisational and supervisory skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Empathy with the Defence Forces and understanding of military logistics
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Inventory Logistics System (PILS) – highly desirable
