As a MES Support Officer at Fiona Stanley Hospital, you’ll be part of the Managed Equipment Service (MES) team, supporting the delivery of high-quality medical equipment management in one of Australia’s most advanced healthcare facilities. You’ll play an important role in coordinating repair workflows, maintaining essential reporting and billing processes, and supporting seamless communication across contractors, clinical teams, and internal stakeholders.
In this role, you’ll help ensure medical equipment is maintained, tracked, and managed effectively — contributing directly to improved patient care and operational excellence across the hospital.
As an MES Support Officer, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Creating, progressing, and closing Service and Equipment Requests (SERFs)
- Reviewing maintenance requests, collating repair history, costs, and required documentation
- Responding to clarifications from the Principal and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors
- Maintaining SERF trackers, dashboards, and monthly reporting data
- Preparing Variation Orders and supporting invoicing, monthly billing, and Capex submissions
- Coordinating MES team meetings, tracking actions, and maintaining accurate records
- Attending meetings relating to scheduled and reactive works to ensure timely updates
- Supporting financial processes and billing requirements in collaboration with accounting teams

You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- Strong experience working with subcontractors in multisource environments
- High attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and confidence engaging at all levels
- Understanding of medical equipment operations (preferred)
- Knowledge of purchasing, contract management, and financial processes
- Experience managing trackers, data sets, and financial documentation
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and Microsoft O365
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and an awareness of time boxing tasks to enable prioritized Service Delivery
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team
- ITIL 4 Foundation (desirable)
