As a Mailroom Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting the Electronic Records Management (ERM) team by managing incoming and outgoing mail, courier coordination, scanning and document indexing. This is a full-time, hands-on role based at Fiona Stanley Hospital where you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless mail and information handling across the facility.
As a Mailroom Clerk in the ERM team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Handling, sorting, and preparing mail items for internal distribution
- Collecting and delivering internal mail and confidential waste bins across the hospital
- Scanning and indexing documents into the OnBase records management system
- Managing service requests and providing outcomes via Agility
- Assisting with printing, franking, folding and inserting documents for dispatch
- Providing customer service and telephonic assistance to Serco and FSH staff

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- Demonstrated experience in a mailroom, logistics, or support services environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for internal customer interaction
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use systems for scanning and indexing
- Polite, professional, and reliable presentation with a sense of urgency in service delivery
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment (highly desirable)
