Make an impact at Serco
As Procurement Specialist at Fiona Stanley Hospital, you’ll play an important role in supporting procurement and contract activities across our Infrastructure team. Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and the Category and Contract Lead, you’ll help ensure procurement processes run smoothly while supporting value-for-money outcomes and maintaining strong governance standards. This is a varied role where your organisation, relationship-building and attention to detail will make a real impact. You’ll join a supportive and collaborative team committed to delivering quality healthcare services and continuous improvement.
As a Procurement Specialist in our Infrastructure team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Developing strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Preparing and managing requests for quotation and supporting sourcing activities
- Negotiating with suppliers to achieve quality, service and value outcomes
- Coordinating subcontractor administration and monitoring contract performance
- Identifying procurement improvement opportunities and supporting cost-saving initiatives
- Maintaining accurate procurement records while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures

- Demonstrated procurement experience including quotations, evaluations and supplier engagement
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- A proactive and dependable approach with strong attention to detail
- Experience working within compliance and governance frameworks
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or postgraduate studies in Procurement, Business or a related field (desirable)
