Reporting to the L&D WHS Specialist Training Lead, the L&D Senior Casual Trainer will assist in the delivery of the strategic L&D training plan, programs and materials to clinical and non-clinical staff, to continually improve safe work practices and ensure legislative compliance.
Your Responsibilities:
- Delivery and assessment of training programs and competencies for manual task, patient handling and Aggression Prevention Intervention - API2.
- Assist in risk minimization strategies related to manual handling tasks.
- Complete safety observation assessments and competencies.
- Assist in maintaining training statistics via LMS.
- Ensure that service delivery is of a quality standard and consistent with both W.A. Health/Serco standards
- Course management in the LMS – maintenance and participant resulting
Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive orientation and training program prior to leading training sessions.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- Training experience in a health care environment in a clinical capacity (preferable)
- Experience in a Learning and Development role.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant healthcare role
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (preferable)
Qualifications
- Bachelor Qualifications in human movement, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, or other relevant area of study or working towards these qualifications (desirable).
- Workplace First Aid certification including maintaining CPR compliance
