  • Location: Fiona Stanley Hospital, Murdoch, Perth. 

  • 24 month fixed term opportunity; Hourly base rate from $38.14 

  • Rostered 7.6-hour shifts, covering between 6:00am–6:30pm. 

  • 5 days on-site supporting 7-day operations i.e. working weekends and public holidays too.

As a DTS Service Technician, you’ll support critical technologies across Fiona Stanley Hospital, helping ensure seamless day-to-day operations. You’ll work across Audio Visual (AV), Patient Entertainment Systems (PES), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) while also supporting the wider ICT team with project delivery and fault investigation activities. Working within the Digital Technology Support team, you’ll provide hands-on support, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. Your work will directly support patients, clinicians, and hospital teams. 

As a Service Technician in the Digital Technology Support team, you’ll make a positive impact by: 

  • Supporting and maintaining AV, PES and AGV systems across the hospital  

  • Monitoring and managing AGV operations and scheduling movements  

  • Troubleshooting faults and performing repairs or component replacements  

  • Conducting planned and reactive maintenance  

  • Assisting users with equipment setup, training, and technical support  

  • Managing assistance requests and assist the Seniors team with asset management tasks

  • Experience working with AGV, automated systems, or electronics 

  • Hands-on skills in repairing, replacing components, and using hand-tools, battery powered-tools and soldering tools  

  • A broad technical skill set beyond audio visual systems 

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-focused mindset, supported by excellent knowledge of electronic signal flow and proven experience troubleshooting complex issues in fastpaced environments 

  • Confidence communicating with a range of people in a supportive way  

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
