Store Person – Full Time, Permanent, 38 hours a week

$30.93 an hour + super (Penalty rates apply)

Rotating roster, with shift times varying between: 6:00am – 2:00pm, 10:00am – 6:00pm and 12:00pm – 8:00pm. Occasional weekend work will be required

As a Store Person at Fiona Stanley Hospital, where you'll play a vital role in the receipt, storage, ordering, and delivery of supplies that support patient care. Reporting to the Stores Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

• Unloading and delivering goods ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Matching deliveries with documentation and reporting damaged goods.
• Managing stock deliveries to hospital departments and conducting stock checks.
• Operating RF scanners to manage imprest inventory
• Safely and efficiently put away stock in designated storage areas
• Ensuring safety standards and compliance with traffic management procedures.
• Assisting clinical staff with stock requests and maintaining a clean, organized supply area.
• Supporting continuous improvement efforts and participating in quality assurance activities.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in warehouse or distribution environments, including using manual handling equipment and RF scanning.
• High levels of attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Forklift license (or willingness to obtain).
