As Capital Works, Third Party & Events Manager based in Carlton, you’ll play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of capital works, third-party projects and event-related operations across the region. Working closely with contractors, stakeholders and internal teams, you’ll help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is a varied and hands-on role where your project coordination skills and ability to build strong working relationships will make a visible difference to our services and the communities we support. You’ll join a supportive team committed to quality outcomes, innovation and continuous improvement.

As a Capital Works, Third Party & Events Manager, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Managing capital works projects to ensure delivery to time, budget and quality expectations
  • Coordinating contractors, site meetings and stakeholder engagement across active projects
  • Preparing project documentation, quotations, tenders and monthly invoicing reports
  • Overseeing third-party works and ensuring internal teams remain informed and aligned
  • Managing event handovers, reinstatement works and related operational activities
  • Supporting safe work practices and maintaining compliance across all project activities

  • Experience in open space maintenance, landscaping, horticulture or related project environments
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build trusted working relationships
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and safe work practices
  • A relevant qualification in Project Management, Landscaping, Horticulture or Turf, or you’re currently studying toward one
