We’re seeking a passionate and capable HSE Advisor to support our Melbourne Parks and Gardens team. In this role, you'll lead the delivery of holistic health, safety and environment strategies to ensure a healthy and compliant workplace. You’ll collaborate with operational teams to deliver training, improve systems, and strengthen our safety-first culture.

As a Health Safety Environment Advisor in the Community HSE team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Delivering adaptive safety programs and engagement initiatives to reduce operational risk

  • Maintaining and improving HSE systems in line with ISO and Australian standards

  • Planning and executing HSE strategy and tactical plans across the contract

  • Supporting incident management, investigations and compliance reporting

  • Leading contractor and employee HSE assurance activities including audits and observations

  • Providing coaching and expert advice to operational leaders and teams

You could be a great fit if you have:

  • A Diploma in WHS (Work Health and Safety)

  • Safety leadership experience in high-risk construction or similar environments (5+ years preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001) and safety legislation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including coaching and influencing

  • Strong planning, time management and initiative in a high-volume environment

  • Relevant certifications including Construction White Card, Root Cause Investigation and Audit Training
