Make an impact at Serco
As an Infrastructure Specialist, you'll play an important role in maintaining the infrastructure that keeps Melbourne's parks and gardens safe, functional and welcoming for the community. Working alongside a supportive team, you'll carry out a variety of hands-on maintenance activities while ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard. This is an outdoor role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to make a visible impact while contributing to the ongoing care and presentation of some of Melbourne's most valued public spaces.
As an Infrastructure Specialist, you'll make a positive impact by:
- Maintaining park infrastructure including paths, benches, fencing and minor structures
- Completing infrastructure maintenance works including paving, concreting, painting, carpentry and repairs
- Operating and maintaining machinery, vehicles and equipment in accordance with manufacturer requirements
- Communicating professionally with internal teams and members of the public
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with workplace procedures
- Reporting accidents, incidents and near misses in line with safety requirements

You could be a great fit if you have:
- Practical experience in infrastructure maintenance, timber works and painting
- Knowledge of basic carpentry and landscaping practices
- Experience operating power tools, plant and machinery
- A commitment to working safely and collaboratively within a team environment
- A trade-recognised qualification in Carpentry, Landscaping or a related trade
- Current Driver's Licence and Machine Operator Tickets (Front End Loader, Tractor or similar), with a Medium Rigid Truck Licence desirable
- Victoria employee Working with Childrens Check (or willing to obtain)
