We are currently searching for an experienced and dynamic Service and Mission Security Engineer who will support our activities in EUSPA and work from their HQ in Prague, Czech Republic. We are open for full time employment, as well as consultants, depending on your preference.

Your Mission
Within EUSPA’s EGNOS programme, you will support security engineering and operations preparation by defining and maintaining the Security Baseline in line with service evolution and risk analysis outcomes. You will contribute to the consolidation of Mission Security Requirements, review secure concepts, and ensure traceability to Service and lower-level requirements, including the justification of new requirements. You will maintain alignment between SOC, Service Requirements, and Mission Security Requirements, assess associated RFW/RFD, and support contingency planning, including business continuity, disaster recovery, and key management. You will support secure aspects of service implementation and validation, contribute to secure engineering methodologies and supporting tools, and drive service evolution by capturing security lessons learned and analysing impacts from programme documentation. Through participation in boards, meetings, and reviews, you will help strengthen the resilience and protection of mission-critical services.
What You Bring to the Mission
As an EGNOS Security Specialist, you will contribute to safeguarding space-based services and ground segment operations, ensuring they remain resilient and compliant with stringent security regulations. Working within a team of multilingual experts, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, applying your expertise in security engineering, IT compliance, and risk assessment to protect mission-critical systems. You will rely on your knowledge of standards such as ISO 27001, Information Security Management Systems, auditing, and compliance assessment, while leveraging your understanding of satellite operations, RF communication systems, and secure services such as Galileo PRS. Through technical writing, clear communication, and structured project coordination, you will help translate complex security requirements into practical solutions. Your professional background, certifications, and ability to obtain security clearance will enable you to play a key role in strengthening the security posture of programmes supported by EUSPA.
