Your Opportunity  

We are looking for a Crew Manager - to manage one of the fire fighting vehicles in the station, The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management and performance of his crew in the provision of 24/7 Rescue & Firefighting Services (RFFS) in response to incidents, including fire, rescues, building and facility emergencies, storms, flooding, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous materials release and de-contamination/clean up tasks.

 

The ideal candidate should have the ability to multi-task and manage various tasks, and good communication. Excellent organization, time management and prioritizing skills. 

 

This role is part of the Fire and Rescue Services Team and will be based in Red Sea - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
 

Key Accountabilities

  • Assumes the role of Incident Commander at small-scale and non-protracted incidents.
  • Assumes the role of Sector Commander at large-scale and protracted incidents.
  • Leads/Manages the crew of their assigned vehicles or equipment in the performance of all firefighting, rescue or other required duties.
  • Directs the positioning of his vehicles, the deployment of his crew and equipment and manages tasks in response to emergency incidents.
  • Responsible for the operation of his vehicles radio communications and for coordination with other emergency services vehicles.
  •  Assists in the ongoing mandatory competency-based fire training of fire and rescue service personnel as required, ensuring all records are maintained
  • Manages daily station duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment, actively promoting health, safety, welfare and environmentally safe practices

 

Specific Requirements

  • At least a High School Graduate
  • Must be a certified competent in role and qualified to a Rescue & Firefighting Service standard recognized by international (IFSAC / Pro Board) and/or regional regulatory bodies such as: GACA
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) – proficient in word processing, reports and compiling documents into standard formats. 
  • Certified ‘Medically Fit’ for the role  
  • Demonstrable experience in fire/rescue services including 1 year as a Crew Chief / Crew Manager
  • Valid light vehicle operator license in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia/GCC
