Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the service manager, the Partnerships & Ecosystem Manager (DestinE), you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing the DestinE partners ecosystem. You will be responsible for building strategic partnerships, coordinating technical and scientific collaborations, and ensuring the ecosystem thrives as a hub for innovation and impact. This role requires a blend of experience in stakeholder management, technical understanding, and strategic thinking to drive the adoption and uptake of DestinE Platform.
Ecosystem Growth & Partnership Development
- Identify, engage, and onboard new partners (academia, industry, government, NGOs) to expand the DestinE ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with DestinE’s mission and objectives.
- Lead outreach initiatives to promote DestinE’s capabilities and foster collaboration across sectors.
Community Engagement & Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for ecosystem participants, addressing inquiries and facilitating collaboration.
- Organize and lead workshops, webinars, and working groups to foster knowledge sharing and innovation.
- Gather and analyze feedback from partners to continuously improve the ecosystem’s value proposition.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with technical, scientific, and operations teams to ensure the ecosystem supports DestinE Platform ecosystem.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop materials that highlight the ecosystem’s successes and opportunities.
Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, computer science, geospatial technologies, business administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in ecosystem development, partnership management, business development, or community management, preferably in tech, climate, or scientific sectors.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse organizations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (additional European languages are a plus).
- Technical aptitude: Comfort with discussing Earth Observation or geospatial technologies (no deep technical expertise required, but the ability to engage with technical teams is essential).
- Experience in climate tech, digital twins, earth observation, or sustainability initiatives.
- Familiarity with EU-funded projects or international collaborations.
