We’re looking for two highly motivated System Administrator Operators to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, administration and management of operating systems and/or properly configure hardware and software on servers (e.g. install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems).
  • Administration and operation of VMWARE virtual environment (e.g. create and configure VM, perform VM tuning, perform ESXi configuration and troubleshooting, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems).
  • Administration and operation of OpenStack cloud environment (e.g. create and configure VM, perform VM tuning, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems).
  • Administration and operation of Kubernetes environment.
  • Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation, inventory assessment, and other procedures related to systems management.
  • Monitor of operated/administered environment
  • Make recommendations relevant to system security, computer system performance, disk and other components utilization.
  • Monitor systems and applications performances to track operating efficiency.
  • Test and implement technical solutions and provide strong operational support on virtualization architectures.
  • Work with team to automate management tasks, streamline processes and perform standard administration functions as needed.
  • Conduct software and hardware evaluations, provide technical analysis and implement systems to meet Customer’s IT goals.
  • Report status and flags issues, especially in a proactive manner.
  • Participate to the On-Call service.

Skills

Mandatory:

  • Strong knowledge of Linux system administration, particularly Red Hat–based distributions (e.g. CentOS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux), including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux automation and DevOps practices (e.g. scripting, Ansible, Python).
  • Knowledge of container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and/or VMware virtualisation environments.

 

Nice to have / Assets:

  • Experience with VMware automation (e.g. scripting for reporting, provisioning, and deployments).
  • Knowledge of OpenStack infrastructure.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and related administration and management tools.
  • Knowledge of backup and restore solutions and technologies.
  • Experience with High Availability (HA) installation, configuration, and tuning.
  • Knowledge of network management, firewalls, and IT security principles.
  • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Relevant certifications in the above technologies would be considered a strong asset.
  • Good understanding of ITIL practices and service management processes.

 

Qualification and Experience:

  • At least a secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Between 2 and 4 years of proven experience in system and/or infrastructure administration.
  • Experience working in data centre environments, complex IT infrastructures, or supporting enterprise-level systems would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in setting up and managing virtual environments on both physical infrastructure and cloud platforms would be an advantage.
  • Good written and spoken command of English (minimum B1–B2 level).
  • Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment, with strong teamwork skills and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
  • Ability to meet schedules and project milestones in a structured working environment.
