Here at Serco, we’re dedicated to fostering a workplace where every colleague feels valued and included, and where a range of perspectives drives innovation and business success. As we continue to evolve, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Inclusion Partner to help us embed an inclusive culture across our UK and Europe operations.

The Inclusion Partner will play a vital role in transforming our approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), helping us move from a fragmented, often reactive approach to a robust, strategic, and data-driven inclusion agenda. This role exists to create, implement, and embed a comprehensive DEI strategy that changes mindsets across contracts and balances the complex priorities of our business.

You will work closely with senior leaders, managers, employee networks, People Directors, and global inclusion colleagues to ensure inclusion is integrated into every aspect of our people practices - from recruitment and development through to retention and progression.

As part of this you’ll:

  • Drive Serco UK and Europe’s DEI ambitions by translating global strategy into practical, local plans that deliver lasting impact.
  • Develop and embed a strong DEI framework, balancing priorities and leading change across contracts.
  • Partner with senior leaders to align inclusion initiatives with business goals.
  • Support and coach employee network chairs to connect activity plans with strategy.
  • Deliver talent development programmes that support underrepresented groups.
  • Manage the DEI budget to ensure resources are used effectively.
  • Use surveys, focus groups, and data analytics to identify barriers, track progress, and inform decisions.
  • Collaborate with global teams to share best practice and ensure alignment.
  • Apply a DEI perspective across recruitment, communications, learning, procurement, and product design.
  • Build strong relationships to influence inclusive leadership and culture change.
  • Advise on learning content, facilitate workshops, and contribute to behavioural standards.
  • Engage external partners and networks to bring in fresh ideas and strengthen Serco’s DEI reputation.
  • Translate strategic goals into annual plans and report progress to stakeholders.

What you’ll need to do the role:

  • Experience in DEI or related functions (talent, learning, organisational development, change) with a strong inclusion focus.
  • Deep understanding of diverse identities, systemic barriers, and current DEI trends.
  • Strong data literacy with the ability to interpret diversity metrics, legislation, and benchmarking to drive decisions.
  • Experience managing external partnerships in DEI contexts.
  • Knowledge of organisational psychology or behavioural science to support sustainable culture change.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, able to challenge constructively at all levels.
  • Confidence to disrupt the norm with evidence-based insights and purpose.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills adaptable to diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated with organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe as needed.

What we offer:

  • Company car
  • Private healthcare
  • Bonus scheme of 5% on target and 10% exceeding targets
  • Flexible working considered
  • Pension – 6%
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Chance to contribute to innovation in the public services
  • A company passionate about diversity and inclusion
