At Serco, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a detail-oriented People Data Administrator to join our team, helping to maintain accurate employee and organisational data that supports thousands of colleagues across our business.
Working within a fast-paced shared services environment, you'll play a vital role in ensuring HR data is maintained accurately, employee records are up to date, and our HR systems continue to support the smooth delivery of HR and payroll services.
What You'll Be Doing
As a People Data Administrator, you'll be responsible for processing employee and organisational data across the full employee lifecycle within SAP HCM. You'll maintain employee records, update organisational structures and positions, support recruitment and onboarding activity, and ensure all data changes are processed accurately and within agreed service levels.
You'll work closely with teams across HR, Payroll, HRIS, Case Management, and Helpdesk functions to resolve queries, support organisational change, and maintain the integrity of our HR systems. You'll also assist with annual activities such as pay reviews, grade uplifts, audits, restructures, and other workforce-related projects.
Providing excellent customer service will be a key part of the role, as you'll regularly communicate with stakeholders across the business, helping to resolve complex data queries while ensuring compliance with internal processes and controls.
What You'll Need
- Experience using SAP Systems
- Experience administering and maintaining people data
- Knowledge of the employee lifecycle and HR processes
- Understanding of employment terms and conditions
- Experience using reporting tools such as Ad Hoc Query, Spinifex, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage a high volume of work while meeting SLAs and KPIs
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- Experience working within an HR Shared Services environment
- Experience using ServiceNow, EIC, or similar ticketing systems
- Knowledge of organisational management and people data within a complex business environment
- Experience with ResourceLink or Winshuttle
- A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to identify better ways of working
