We're looking for a Recruitment Marketing Coordinator to join our small but busy Recruitment Marketing team. Working closely with our Recruitment Marketing Manager, you'll help coordinate and deliver a wide range of recruitment marketing activity across Serco.

A big part of your role will be keeping things organised and running smoothly – managing campaign trackers, coordinating recruitment events, supporting media bookings, pulling together reports and making sure deadlines, actions and details don't get missed.

But that's not all. You'll also have the opportunity to get involved in the creative side of recruitment marketing, from creating social media posts and recruitment flyers to making updates to our careers site and bringing new ideas to the team.

You'll work across a broad range of Serco's business areas, supporting recruitment activity that can change quickly. Priorities can shift and urgent requests can come in, so you'll need to be comfortable adapting, reprioritising and responding quickly while still maintaining a high level of accuracy and organisation.

Whether you're looking to build a career in recruitment marketing or simply want to be great at what you do, we'll give you the support, exposure and opportunity to make an impact.

What you'll do

Working closely with the Recruitment Marketing Manager, you'll provide coordination and hands-on support across our recruitment marketing activity. This could include:

  • Campaign tracking – updating campaign trackers as activity and priorities evolve, andproviding weekly updates on campaign progress, upcoming activity and actions.
  • Coordinating recruitment events – supporting the planning and organisation of careers and recruitment events, keeping track of logistics, branded merchandise and actions.

  • Reporting and data – producing regular Hootsuite reports and pulling together ad hoc reports on recruitment activity, such as application data for a particular role or campaign.

  • Research and employee stories – carrying out market and internal research, including identifying colleagues who could take part in employee stories, testimonials and other recruitment marketing content.

  • Social media and community – helping to create, schedule and publish social media content, and responding to employer reviews on Indeed on a monthly basis.

  • Creative content – creating social media assets and recruitment flyers using templates and tools such as Canva, with the opportunity to develop your own ideas and experiment with new approaches over time.

  • Careers site – making simple content updates to our careers site and ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.

  • Supporting media activity – helping with media bookings and liaising with suppliers.

  • Making things better – looking for ways to improve how we organise and deliver our activity, and sharing ideas with the Recruitment Marketing Manager.

  • Responding to changing priorities – adapting your workload when urgent recruitment needs arise, balancing competing requests and making sure the most important activity is delivered quickly and accurately.

As part of a small team, you'll have visibility across a broad range of activity and will be trusted with real responsibility. You'll work closely with the Recruitment Marketing Manager day to day, while also working with colleagues across the Talent Acquisition team, wider business and external suppliers to get things done.

Who will be a great fit?

You'll be someone who loves being organised and takes pride in getting things right.

You'll bring:

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail - you notice the things other people might miss and take the time to check your work.
  • Confidence using Excel, including managing trackers, organising information and working with data.
  • Good knowledge of PowerPoint and the ability to create clear, professional presentations.
  • Good written communication skills and comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT or CoPilot to support content creation and make tasks more efficient.
  • A proactive approach - you take ownership of your work, follow tasks through and make sure things get done
  • The ability to adapt quickly when priorities change, stay calm under pressure and respond to urgent requests without losing sight of other commitments.
  • An interest in social media and digital marketing, with a willingness to learn and try new things.
  • Creativity and curiosity - you're happy to suggest an idea, spot a trend or find a better way of doing something.
  • A reliable and practical approach to work, with the ability to juggle routine administration alongside more creative tasks.

Experience in marketing, communications, recruitment marketing or a similar coordination role would be useful, but it's not essential. Experience with Canva would be desirable, but we're happy to support you in developing your skills.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and on it. Someone we can trust to keep things moving, produce accurate work, meet deadlines and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Why join us?

You'll be joining a small, close-knit Recruitment Marketing team, working directly with the Recruitment Marketing Manager and having the opportunity to see how a broad range of recruitment marketing activity comes together.

You'll gain hands-on experience across campaigns, social media, digital content, careers site management, media, events, creative activity and reporting, rather than being focused on just one area of marketing.

There will be opportunities to develop your skills and take on more responsibility over time, particularly if you have ideas and an interest in social media and content. As you build your experience, there may also be opportunities to grow your role and progress within the wider marketing team, depending on your interests, strengths and the needs of the business.

And because we're a small team, your contribution will make a real difference. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership, make improvements and see the impact of your work
