Make an impact at Serco
As Assurance Lead, you’ll support the Head of Risk and Assurance to strengthen risk, quality and compliance across Serco’s Asia Pacific division. You’ll plan and deliver assurance engagements, assess controls and processes, and work with teams to address findings and improve how we operate. Working across operational, contract and enabling teams, you’ll help embed practical risk management and assurance practices that support strong business outcomes.
As an Assurance Lead in the Legal & Compliance team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Delivering assurance reviews across technical areas, contract operations and enabling services
- Assessing risks, controls and processes and identifying practical improvements
- Supporting quality management systems, ISO accreditations and assurance frameworks
- Facilitating risk workshops and supporting risk assessment activities
- Maintaining assurance reporting and tracking remediation activities
- Contributing to business continuity, crisis management and continuous improvement

You could be a great fit if you have:
- 5+ years’ experience in assurance, risk, governance, compliance, audit or quality
- Experience in large, complex, highly regulated or government-facing organizations
- Strong capability in planning and delivering assurance engagements
- Working knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Tertiary qualifications in business, risk, governance, assurance, audit or a related field
Membership of professional bodies such as IIA, IRM, CPA Australia or CAANZ will be highly regarded, as will certifications such as CA, CPA, CIA, CRMA or CISA. Experience with GRC systems, ISO standards and Lean Six Sigma will also be valued.
