The Return and Reintegration Assistance Program (RRAP) supports eligible non-citizens who wish to voluntarily return to their home countries. We deliver this essential program on behalf of the Department of Home Affairs with empathy, care and professionalism. As a Case Worker in our RRAP team, you'll provide holistic, person-centred support to individuals navigating their return journey. You’ll manage tailored case plans, coordinate access to services, and lead outreach activities to build awareness and community trust.

As a Case Worker in the RRAP team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Delivering tailored, person-centred support for individuals returning home

  • Managing comprehensive case plans to meet client needs

  • Facilitating travel logistics, incidentals and wellbeing support

  • Providing clear, accurate information to support voluntary return decisions

  • Conducting outreach to raise awareness and build stakeholder relationships

  • Supporting team members to ensure high-quality service delivery

You could be a great fit if you have:

  • A Diploma (or higher) in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related field (desirable not essential)

  • Experience in case management or support roles with vulnerable clients

  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to build rapport with diverse communities

  • Excellent time management and documentation skills

  • A current driver’s licence and First Aid/CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain)

  • Valid Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)
