The Contract Performance Manager supports Serco’s Maritime and Defence teams in overseeing contract execution and customer engagement, playing a key role in ensuring contract deliverables and performance targets are met. You'll collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure contract compliance, reporting, and commercial support are effectively delivered. This role offers the opportunity to influence real outcomes in a highly strategic and customer-focused environment.

 

As a Contract Performance Manager, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Supporting contract and subcontract execution to meet all compliance requirements
  • Acting as the liaison for customer and subcontractor communications
  • Ensuring successful delivery of contracts against KPIs in scope, schedule, and budget
  • Drafting and negotiating contract changes and proposals
  • Providing commercial input into reporting and deliverables
  • Offering training and advice on contract terms across operational teams

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Law
  • 5 years of contract management or commercial experience
  • Demonstrated experience in legal analysis and interpreting contractual terms
  • Experience in Defence, Maritime or engineering sectors (desirable)
  • Strong ability to interpret complex documents and communicate clearly
  • Excellent stakeholder collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work independently
