As a Capture and Proposal Director, you’ll play a pivotal role as the playmaker, driving how we shape solutions and guide our people through every stage of a high-quality proposal lifecycle. You’ll lead ‘go to market’ strategies and inspire teams to win new business, coordinating high-quality proposals from inception to submission while bringing everyone along on the journey.
Developing strong internal and external stakeholder relationships is central to your approach, as is innovating proposal processes to enhance efficiency and impact. You’ll prepare presentations and reports that support our undertakings, ensuring bids comply with governance and ethical standards and fostering a collaborative environment throughout the process.
As a Capture and Proposal Director, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Leading ‘go to market’ strategies and winning new business
- Directing high-quality bids, including drafting and submission
- Developing strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Innovating proposal processes to drive efficiency and impact
- Preparing presentations and reports to support business growth
- Ensuring bids comply with governance and ethical standards

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- Proven leadership in large, complex organisation
- Demonstrated success winning government or service contracts or proven success on the Government side of going to market
- Strong capability in strategic planning and business development
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- High-level commercial acumen and financial understanding
- Experience managing tenders and leading diverse teams to success
- Experience in strategic planning, design thinking, and innovation leadership
- Relevant tertiary qualifications; post-graduate studies desirable
- Leadership skills that foster psychological safety, inclusiveness, and a culture of innovation, resilience, and strategic vision.
