As our Injury Management Advisor (NSW), you’ll play a key role in supporting our NSW sites and contracts with specialist injury management and workers compensation expertise. Reporting to the NSW Self-Insurance & QLD Injury Services Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of claims and partner closely with leaders to achieve safe, sustainable return to work outcomes. You will play a key role in the continued development of our NSW Self-Insurance Workers Compensation Program, refining and building processes that improve care and outcomes for our people.

As an Injury Management Advisor in the ASPAC HSE team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Managing a workers compensation and injury management portfolio, end to end claims

  • Developing and implementing tailored injury management and return to work plans

  • Partnering with leaders, insurers and health providers to achieve sustainable outcomes

  • Coaching and supporting sites to identify suitable duties and recover at work plans

  • Analysing claims trends to inform prevention and wellbeing initiatives

  • Delivering injury management training and practical guidance to stakeholders

You could be a great fit if you have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in NSW workers compensation or injury management

  • Strong knowledge of NSW Workers Compensation legislation and best practice

  • Experience in Self-Insurance desirable
  • Experience in other Australian state jurisdictions desirable 
  • Experience developing Recover at Work plans and managing complex claims

  • Confidence building trusted relationships and influencing diverse stakeholders

  • Qualifications in a relevant health discipline (desirable) and NSW RTW Coordinator training

  • Resilience, sound judgement and the ability to self-manage in a dynamic environment
