As a Network Engineer in the Digital & Technology Services team, you’ll be designing, maintaining, and optimising our hybrid network infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments. You’ll collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders—internal and external—to ensure secure, reliable connectivity that supports critical operations. You'll be instrumental in driving digital transformation, enhancing network resilience, and shaping our cybersecurity posture.

As a Network Engineer in the Digital & Technology Services team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Designing and maintaining secure on-prem and cloud-based networks

  • Managing and optimising network performance and connectivity

  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex system and cloud issues

  • Engaging with users and partners to deliver technical and advisory support

  • Supporting disaster recovery planning and cybersecurity strategies

  • Mentoring internal staff to grow network and cloud capabilities

Your ideal skills & experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in enterprise network engineering, including hybrid/cloud

  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, VLANs, IPsec, and SD-WAN

  • Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP networking environments

  • Certifications such as CCNP, Azure Network Engineer Associate or similar

  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform)

  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (desirable but not essential)
