We’re looking for an organised and proactive Operations Scheduler to join our Defence Marine Support Services (DMSS) team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of coordinating vessel operations and crew scheduling to ensure seamless support for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). Working closely with site management, Serco Defence teams, and Commonwealth stakeholders, you’ll help us deliver cost-effective, safe, and efficient marine services.

As an Operations Scheduler in the DMSS team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
•    Coordinating and scheduling vessel operations and crewing requirements
•    Managing daily service requests to ensure timely delivery of all commitments
•    Maintaining workforce management systems and crew training registers
•    Assisting with operational reporting and administrative support
•    Engaging professionally with Defence representatives and contractors
•    Supporting after-hours operational requirements on a rotational basis

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
•    Proven administrative expertise with exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
•    Ideally a background in maritime operations
•    Experience with SAP (highly regarded)
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities under minimal supervision
•    Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•    Current First Aid Certificate
•    Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Baseline)
