Make an impact at Serco

As a Senior Commercial Analyst, you’ll join our ASPAC Commercial Team and provide high-quality financial modelling and commercial analysis across bid opportunities and live operational contracts. You’ll work closely with bid teams and specialists across the business to develop robust cost models, support pricing outcomes and meet governance and assurance requirements. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement across our commercial tools, processes and ways of working.

You’ll make a positive impact by:

• Developing and maintaining dynamic, accurate Excel-based financial models
• Supporting bid pricing, supplier analysis and commercial negotiations
• Analysing financial risks through sensitivity and scenario modelling
• Working with specialists to develop and test commercial assumptions
• Supporting governance, assurance and commercial decision-making
• Guiding Commercial Analysts and contributing to team capability

The role requires flexibility to support key business deadlines, particularly during active bid periods, when additional hours outside standard working hours may occasionally be required. We recognise these additional contributions and take a flexible approach to supporting work-life balance following particularly demanding periods.

You could be a great fit if you have:

• Advanced financial modelling skills, including three-way financial statements and workforce modelling
• Strong financial, quantitative and commercial analysis experience
• Experience in complex bids, commercial operations or project finance
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent stakeholder engagement as well as communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility to travel occasionally to support business needs
• A relevant degree and qualified or part-qualified accounting credentials.
