Your Opportunity 

We are looking for a Senior Firefighter to Provide 24/7 Rescue and Firefighting Services (RFFS), including ARFF support for airfields per ICAO category, and emergency response to fires, facility incidents, storms, gas leaks, accidents, hazardous materials, and decontamination tasks.

This role will be based in Dubai. 

Key Accountabilities

• Responds to aviation and structural fire emergencies, including aircraft, buildings, fuel farms, and hazardous areas.
• Assists with casualty care and rescue operations under medical guidance.
• Operates firefighting and rescue equipment (e.g., hoses, SCBA, ladders, foam systems).
• Maintains PPE, tools, and a clean, safe station environment.
• Drives and operates fire vehicles (ARFF/SRFF) during emergencies.
• Performs daily checks on vehicles, including fuel, oil, water, and hydraulics.
• Replenishes firefighting media (water, foam) and ensures vehicle readiness.
• Reports defects and performs SCBA maintenance tasks.
• Manages emergency dispatch and monitors alarms, crash signals, and fire systems.
• Conducts routine tests on PA systems, alarms, radios, and bay doors.
• Supports communication between fire stations, vehicles, and security teams.

Specific Requirements

• Two to Five (2-5) years’ experience in fire/rescue services including two (2) years as a firefighter at an ICAO Category Five (5) airfield or above.
• Additional fire/rescue work experience may be substituted for up to two (2) years formal education in the ratio of two (2) years’ experience to one (1) years education.
• Military firefighting experience (Desirable)
• Certified ‘Medically Fit’ for the role.
• Qualified Crew Manager is essential and/or preferably a qualified Watch Manager
