We are currently seeking a ICT Support Officer(MS System Administrator) to join our team supporting the EuroJust in The Hague, Netherlands, as well as in other locations across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
To ensure the operations of the Eurojust Digital Infrastructure and carry out all the tasks necessary to keep them functioning 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Microsoft System Administrator is in charge of the maintenance and technical development necessary to ensure that the Eurojust Digital Infrastructure is maintained at a satisfactory level of operational quality.
Main Activity
Function type: Microsoft Enterprise Applications
Function name: Installing, maintaining, updating, and troubleshooting Microsoft Enterprise Application components such as: MS Active Directory, MS System Center Configuration Manager.
Enterprise Applications are ON PREMISE, Cloud only related experience (ENTRA, 365 Exchange/Sharepoint Online etc.) is not relevant.
Duties:
- Contributing to Designing, Engineering and implementing on Premise MS Enterprise Application solutions related to Multi Domain Active Directory with PKI, MS System Center Configuration Manager;
- Providing Subject Matter Expertise in the formation of new MS Enterprise Application Solutions;
- Maintaining the Digital Infrastructure environment, including but not limited to: MS Active Directory GPO maintenance, End User Computing Image creation and Application deployment/ maintenance;
- Owning and resolving MS Enterprise Application and other related Incident Tickets in a 3rd line capacity as required;
- Troubleshooting and investigating application errors/malfunctions.
Other Activity
In addition to the skills needed to perform the above-mentioned tasks and to function in the described work environment the Support Officer (Back office – Microsoft System Administrator) shall have:
- Experience: at least 3 years in MS Enterprise Applications Operations
- Strong knowledge of end-user computing environments (Windows 11)
- Experience with ITSM frameworks (ITIL foundation preferred)
- Familiarity with configuration manager, endpoint security, and IAM tools
- Analytical mindset for incident trending and service Improvement
- Clear communicator — able to translate technical issues for non-technical users
- Customer-service orientation with a proactive, employee first attitude
- Shall have good command of the English language as this is the official working language of Eurojust.
