We are now looking for a Cloud Developer Intern to join our team in Toulouse. This internship offers a chance to work in a real engineering environment, where you will help design and maintain a cloud-native infrastructure based on Kubernetes. It is a hands-on role, where you will work with tools used in modern DevOps and SRE environments and contribute to real solutions that support operational systems.

The Difference You Will Make

During your internship, you will help design and deploy a Kubernetes cluster on a public cloud platform, learning how real infrastructure is put together from the ground up. You will assist in automating environments using tools like Terraform, Helm and Ansible, helping to make complex systems easier to manage and scale. You will work on integrating monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK and Loki, discovering how engineers track performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure reliability.

You will take part in deploying containerized applications using GitLab CI or ArgoCD, gaining experience in continuous integration and delivery. You will also support documentation, capturing best practices and procedures so that knowledge can be reused by others. Throughout your work, you will observe new trends and tools in the cloud-native ecosystem and contribute your findings to the team. Your role will not be limited to following instructions, it will be about understanding how things work and improving them with time.

What You Bring

You are currently studying Engineering, Computer Science or Cloud Systems and you are familiar with technologies like Docker, Kubernetes or Rancher. You are comfortable in Linux environments and you enjoy scripting in Bash or Python to solve small challenges. You are curious about automation and how things can be made more efficient. You pay attention to detail, you are reliable and you work well with others. You may not have full experience yet, but you have the motivation to learn, the discipline to test your ideas and the mindset to think like an engineer.

On offer (in case of later employment)

If this internship leads to a permanent opportunity, you would join Serco France on a full-time contract. This would include a vacation bonus paid in June, health insurance, pension and mandatory insurances, profit-sharing and full coverage of French public holidays. You would receive 25 days of annual leave, with additional days based on seniority, and 50 percent reimbursement of public transport costs.
